In 2014, Dr. Suzanne Levine, celebrity podiatrist to the stars, and her husband, Dr. Everett Lautin took a trip to Cambodia. What she encountered was a far different world from her beautiful office on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. During her trip, she visited an orphanage and was struck by the fact that none of the children were wearing shoes. As a strong believer in the importance of proper foot care and footwear, she was compelled to help. She wanted to offer the children the protection and support of a strong foundation so they could play and run carefree. She always keeps the children in mind and remembers the trip fondly.
